Contemporary web publishing requires efficient technologies and tools to build and maintain large and dynamic sites. This paper introduces a Topic Map application used to publish documents during Assembly’04 event. Motivation of this paper is to describe the application and reveal success points and real-life problems encountered while applying Topic Maps on document and knowledge publishing.

Nowadays Topic Maps appears to be very suitable for being applied in Libraries, Archives and Museums. It provides a suitable model and mechanisms for depth indexing, classification and the implementation of FRBR, CIDOC-CRM or other conceptualizations.
