Traditional full text search engines are unable to cover the whole range of information that can be represented within Topic Maps. Beru fills this gap with its advanced method of extracting available information into a Lucene fulltext index and thus providing fast and flexible semantic search for Topic Maps. As Beru is based on the Java TMAPI, it is ready to use for all Java TMAPI based applications.
