Manuel Roj joins the team of the Topic Maps Lab

Abstract:

Manuel Roj will support the team in shaping new business ideas around Topic Maps.

The Topic Maps Lab gets further support from our partner, the HHL Business School. Manuel Roj will support the team in shaping new business ideas around Topic Maps.

He did his studies in Business Administration at the IU Bruchsal and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts. During his studies he did internships in USA and Mexiko.

After his graduation he changed to the University of Tübingen. In 2009 he graduated with a Master of Science in General Management.

Manuel’s main interests in marketing are brands, there strengths and evolution. So he joined the team of Prof. Kirchgeorg in September 2009. Thanks to the cooperation of the Topic Maps Lab and the chair of marketing management at the HHL we can welcome Manuel also in the team of the Lab.

The idea of Topic Maps is essential to enable dynamic information logistic. This requires a system that understands the context of the user to provide relevant informations and options automatically. Therefore semantic analysis is needed organizing content in a dynamic net structure.
