Published by {{by}} on {{at}}.
Abstract:
Yacca.me the social game around the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ participated in the finale of the AI Mashup Challenge at the ESCW 2010. Only one week of development was payed back with the 6th place out of 11 submissions and an interesting week for Sven Windisch at the conference in Greece.
This year the Topic Maps Lab submitted its first contribution to the AI Mashup Challenge at the ESCW 2010 conference in Greece. Sven Windisch took only one week to build yacca.me a virtual fan block for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ starting next Friday.
The basic idea of this social game is simple. Whenever the Yacca card of a player is displayed on the web, the players Yacca points are increased. To promote favourite players the users can embed the Yacca cards into their own blogs or websites. Yacca is like youtube for collector cards.
With yacca.me Sven was invited to join the final round of the Mashup challenge at the nice island Crete.

Sven and the Lab won the 6th place out of 11 submissions. Congratulations to Sven!
And you are invited to support your national team at yacca.me! Please click here to support Philip Lahm the captain of the German team.
