Abstract:

Christian Haß joins the Topic Maps Lab

Christian graduated with a Master degree in Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund in April 2007. For the past two years he worked as a software developer for a remote sensing company located in Brandenburg. Christian has joined the Topic Maps Lab in June 2009 where he started with the development of an web based Topic Maps Editor.

Christian is project leader of TMCL validator. He is involved in Aranuka, Live Integration Framework, and MaJorToM.

 

Nowadays Topic Maps appears to be very suitable for being applied in Libraries, Archives and Museums. It provides a suitable model and mechanisms for depth indexing, classification and the implementation of FRBR, CIDOC-CRM or other conceptualizations.
